Custom Wool Felt Pet Portraits: Handmade Gifts for Everyday Love

A custom wool felt pet portrait is physical handmade textile art created from your dog or cat photos. At ilovefelt, a familiar expression, distinctive markings and a pet's name can become a personal hoop keepsake for your home or a thoughtful gift for a pet-loving friend.

Everyday love, made to keep

A walk together, a favorite sleeping spot, the look that makes you smile: the small moments often become our most treasured memories. A wool portrait offers a tactile way to bring that feeling into daily life, on a wall or in a quiet corner of your home.

Choose the portrait that fits your pet and your space

• Custom flat dog or cat portrait: choose from head-only, bust, or available full-body compositions and different hoop sizes and shapes.
• Custom pet bust portrait hoop: a head-and-chest wool interpretation of your dog or cat, with selected single- or multiple-dog options.
• Personalized cat portrait hoop: a head-and-chest cat portrait with an embroidered name and fabric background. Flowers, bows and complex background details are not included by default.

Check each product's selected option for its exact price, size and included details. Hoop measurements describe the frame, rather than the pet figure. Frames have a faux wood-look finish.

Their little quirks, your favorite memories

Clear photos help us understand the eye color, coat pattern, ears and expression you know so well. The finished piece is an artistic interpretation in natural wool, with individual handmade variations.

How to order a portrait from your pet photo

1. Choose the portrait style and available hoop option on the product page.
2. Place your order, then email your order number and clear reference photos to elsa@ilovefelt.com. For bust and cat portraits, send 3–5 photos; the flat portrait listing accepts 1–5.
3. Include the pet's name, confirm its spelling, and tell us your preferred fabric background color.
4. Approve the design preview before needle felting begins, then review finished-artwork photos before dispatch.

For long fur, complex markings, accessories or an unusual composition, contact us before checkout to confirm feasibility and any additional fee.

A thoughtful gift for someone who loves them like family

A personalized portrait can suit a birthday, a holiday, a thank-you gift or a keepsake for your own home. For a memorial gift, let the recipient's preferences guide your choice. If you have a gift deadline, email your delivery ZIP code and needed-by date before ordering. Making time and shipping time are separate; confirm current estimates rather than assuming a delivery date.

Questions about custom wool pet portraits

Is this a digital portrait or a physical item?

These listings are physical handmade wool artworks in hoops. They are not digital downloads, printed photographs, DIY kits or freestanding sculptures.

Can I include more than one pet?

Some flat and bust portrait options are specifically labeled for two or three dogs. Choose a listed multiple-pet option, or email your photos before ordering to confirm other combinations.

How should I care for the portrait?

Keep the artwork dry and away from direct sunlight. Dust gently with a soft brush. Do not wash or rub. This is decorative art, not a toy; keep it away from young children and pets.

Can personalized artwork be returned?

Review the current refund policy and the selected product's custom-order conditions before checkout. Contact ilovefelt if an item arrives damaged or defective.
